Lake Shore Environmental, Inc. (LSE) was incorporated in 2002 and has since continued to serve a longstanding client base that have come to expect exceptional service and results from the staff at LSE.  LSE’s mission has been to provide seasoned environmental consulting services and develop creative solutions that match our client’s objectives and budget.

While in senior management positions with large environmental engineering firms for the past 39 years, the founders at LSE provided environmental consulting services focusing on hydrogeological investigations and remedial design to a wide spectrum of clients ranging from Fortune 50 corporations to small owner-occupied small businesses.  In these earlier roles, LSE’s senior management gained in depth technical and regulatory expertise and learned the value of good client communication.  LSE’s founders developed a solid reputation with state and federal environmental regulators for integrity and technical expertise which often serves to facilitate regulatory reviews and negotiations.  Despite these positive experiences, it was clear that duplicative layers of senior management and high overhead associated with these large engineering firms continually drove up project costs.  

In order to better serve those clients at cost-effective rates, LSE was organized and began business operations in July of 2002.  Subsequently, LSE has added additional staff and made significant investments in field services equipment and office hardware/software.  LSE also maintains a professional development program to insure that its staff be apprised of current regulatory developments innovative remedial technologies and state-of-the-art monitoring techniques.

As a small firm, LSE provides exceptional client service by providing experienced senior project management staff to oversee all details of a project, thereby improving project communication and eliminating multiple layers of unnecessary management.  This formula provides clients with superior service at a reduced cost.

Lake Shore Environmental is entirely flexible as to contractual arrangements with clients providing services on a time and materials or lump sum basis.  We also routinely partner with other firms providing complementary services and also provide design/build services where appropriate.
